A Nigerian woman has shared a deeply emotional testimony about her journey as a TTC (trying-to-conceive) mother, calling on society to show empathy and stop insulting or mocking women facing fertility challenges.
In a video that has since resonated with many online, the woman spoke candidly about the pain, tears, and emotional toll that come with trying to conceive.
She warned people against making careless comments or judging women in similar situations, stressing that those who have not experienced it can never fully understand the depth of the struggle.
Lady shares her TTC experience
Describing her own experience, she revealed that the waiting period was the hardest season of her life. Despite choosing to trust God, she admitted that the prolonged delay pushed her to a point where she began questioning her faith—something she said she had never done before.
Unknown to her at the time, she was already weeks pregnant but believed her symptoms were due to recurring typhoid and malaria. Disillusioned by repeated medical consultations, she stopped going to the hospital and struggled with deep unbelief, convinced pregnancy was no longer possible. It took multiple pregnancy tests before she finally accepted the reality.
She said her turning point came when a question struck her heart: “Is there anything impossible for God to do?” According to her, even her doctor later confirmed that her pregnancy could only be attributed to divine intervention.
Lady encourages other TTC mothers
Using her story as a message of hope, she encouraged TTC mothers not to give up, insisting that God still answers prayers. She emphasized that her testimony was not just about conception, but about faith, endurance, and believing beyond medical reports.
